The Easy Panel™ – sandwich panel construction – technology was originally developed in the United States during the 1970s as a means of meeting the global need for energy efficient and low-cost housing. Since then the technology has evolved into a wildly accepted building method for both residential and commercial construction, offering numerous advantages over more traditional building techniques.

Easy Panel™’s  Innovative Construction Technology

Each panel (measuring 3.0 meters long and 1.2 meters wide) is constructed of a complex matrix of high tensile steel wire mesh and connecting steel truss wires, all of which are welded together at the Easy Panel™ manufacturing facility. Each panel weighs approximately 16 kilograms when it leaves the factory, including the weight of the fire resistant polystyrene insulation layer suspended within this matrix of welded wire mesh and connecting truss wires, adding both thermal and acoustic insulation properties to the final structure. As panels are light enough to be easily delivered to practically any construction site, the system provides a fast, economical and easy construction method for building a wide variety of projects, including security walls, individual or multi-family housing, as well as large multi-story residential and office buildings and manufacturing facilities.

The interwoven, welded structure of a completed panel gives the final construction strong resistance to many of Mother Nature’s challenges, including earthquakes and high winds from hurricanes and typhoons. We are confident Easy Panel™ can provide you with considerable cost savings that can make many of your construction projects less expensive to build and bring them to completion more quickly than most traditional building materials.

Easy Panel™ is a partially prefabricated building material using the  Easy Panel™ Technology. Tested, certified and patented in Thailand, it consists of a a panel of a matrix of 3D high tensile 3mm steel wire and expanded polystyrene core (EPS) with field-applied concrete.

 The standard size is 3.0 m * 1.2 m and weight 16 Kg.

Easy Panel™ technology can be used in almost any element of a building’s structure (both load bearing or non-load bearing), including walls, floors, stairs and roofs. Depending on final design, the Easy Panel system can be used to build structures up to three floors high without any additional infrastructure, reflecting the strength provided by the complex welded steel-framework within each panel, the cement overlay present on both sides of each installed panel and the stress-compensation provided by both the design of the panels themselves and proper construction design and execution.

Product: LiteCast - May 27th 2013 May 27th 2013

LiteCast is a lightweight precast concrete panel incorporating the Easy Panel™ technology at the core. Innovative  and unique building material, it is a hybrid between Easy Panel™ sandwich panel technology and precast concrete panels. The LiteCast building material presents the same advantages as precast concrete panels, being quick and easy to install, but only weighing 50% of solid precast concrete. Even so, it doesn’t require any changes in the construction methods and has superior thermal and acoustic insulation properties. It is thus a high quality, lightweight alternative to standard precast concrete panels.

 Due to the light weight nature of LiteCast panels, there are many advantages when compare to solid precast panels, these include:

  • Reduced logistics costs for delivery from factory to construction site
  • Reduced capacity of required lifting cranes
  • Primary structure of the building (foundations, footings, columns, beams, etc) can be engineered to be less substantial
  • Providing same or better structural integrity
  • Superior thermal and acoustic insulation properties
Currently, the LiteCast product is manufactured in Thailand in a large precast concrete factory to ISO9001 standards.
